Hand Braided Interlocked
An extraordinary union of dual craft techniques. Raw natural fibers are hand-braided into high-density cords, then meticulously interlocked on traditional vertical looms by master artisans in Colombia.
Bypassing standard manufacturing limits, this intensive process constructs monumental, seamless scales up to 6 by 20 meters—yielding an expansive foundation defined by incredible physical weight and a flat, substantial presence.
Conceived in our Colombian atelier and finalized through our US studio, all custom commissions include fully managed import logistics, white-glove inspection, and expedited domestic delivery.
Material Integrity & Care
Daily Maintenance
Our high-density, hand-braided natural fibers are inherently dirt-resistant and built for high-traffic architectural environments. Vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting (avoid spinning beater bars or rotating brushes, which can fray raw natural fibers over time).
Spills & Spot Cleaning
Because these are pure, undyed natural plant fibers, moisture should be addressed immediately. Blot spills instantly with a clean, dry white cotton cloth. Never rub, scrub, or saturate the fibers with water or harsh chemical cleaners. For solid debris, gently scrape away with a dull edge before blotting.
Professional Care
For overall refreshing or stubborn stains, we strictly recommend professional dry extraction cleaning methods. Do not steam clean, wet-shampoo, or dry-clean your rug, as excessive moisture can alter the structural tension of the organic weave.
